This workshop is suitable for beginners to intermediate aged 18+. It runs over 3 days for roughly 6 hours each day.
Each person will get to make an A3 sized panel incorporating all of their painted glass pieces, you can make this using either traditional leading or the copper foiling technique.

Mixing the paint
Using tools and brushes effectively
Cutting and preparing the glass
Tracing lines
Matt, shading layer
Interesting painting effects
How to use the kiln and firing schedules
Copper foiling or leading, soldering and puttying a panel
All tools and materials are included in the cost, so all you need to bring is enthusiasm. Please wear work clothes and closed toe shoes, PPE is provided.
I ask that you design your panel before the day of the workshop as time is always tight, I am more than happy to help with the designs prior to the workshop.
Hot and cold drinks are provided along with a lunch on the last day from the onsite Cafe.
If you do not live in Cornwall or would like to treat this course as a crafty get away, the studio is based near a beautiful campsite located on the north coast of Cornwall. There are pitches for a tent or hook ups for camper vans, handcrafted shepherds huts and eco pods.
